ADI Design Museum presents « Carissimo Pinocchio/ Dearest Pinocchio, Italian designers and graphic designers redesign the world’s most famous puppet« , an exhibition curated by Giulio Iacchetti. 

On the occasion of the 140th Anniversary of the first edition of the book « The Adventures of Pinocchio, story of a Puppet » by Carlo Collodi, the most translated Italian book in the world, ADI Design Museum presents a selection of projects dedicated to the icon that has inspired generations of creatives and thinkers.

ENRI expresses all the facets of the youthful spirit, in a still contemporary fashion. This anchoring in the present is interpreted through the study of a minimal and expressive form that features the famous silhouette, in three elements. Geppetto’s mastery of assembling and bringing the puppet to life is found in this entirely handcrafted evolutionary geometry, creating decisive and slightly unbalanced alignments.

The artwork has been developed in partnership with Activa SRL and sculpted by hand in Italy by Enrico Morellato.
